Each scene is a puzzle you have to solve to move further. And again we’re left wondering whether it’s real or just Sally’s imagination. The game also has a pinch of supernatural – for instance, a poltergeist living in one of the house rooms. You will get to know your parents, school friends and even some strange guys like a hermit inviting you for a cup of tea. Each of them has their own traits, manner of behavior and biography. The characters you’ll encounter on your way are all unique and interesting. And sometimes it takes a while for you to distinguish whether what you see on the screen is actually happening or these are just images from your head. The game is a sequence of scenes where your daily life is mixed with your past memories. But when it comes to a conversation, you hear something you expected least of all: ‘You’re not my son, my son is no killer!’ What the hell happened?! There are no answers. Then the usual routine seems to start: you get a call from your father, you have to find a way out of the hospital (this is your first quest) and meet him in a certain place. You wake up, apparently after a surgery, because your face is bandaged, with traces of blood. The first episode sets off in a hospital ward. And the fact that he turns out to be a boy makes things even more confusing. When you first see him, you are sure this is a girl since he also wears blue pigtails. The rest of Sally’s appearance is anything but common. You never see it, all that’s shown to us is this frozen visage with dark, unblinking eye slits. Things are complicated by the fact that Sally wears a weird white mask covering his face. He is a novice here and has to literally start his life from scratch – go to a new school, find new friends and get used to an entirely new environment.
The events unfold in a usual town where the protagonist, a strange quiet boy named Sally, moves together with his parents.
